Last week, video filming took place at the Mix House XXV Aprile in Parma, as part of the MAS-1 – Mosaico Abitativo Solidale project, directed by Stefano Cattini and Irene Gallina of Doruntina Film.
The documentary stems from a joint initiative with Allodi Società Benefit, with the aim of creating a multi-voiced narrative capable of capturing the complexity and value of the project. On this first day of filming, representatives from Policreo—Sergio Beccarelli, Paolo Corchia, Claudia Santangelo, and Matteo Volta—were involved, helping to outline the project framework and the principles that guided its development.
The filming unfolded as an exploration of the Mix House spaces, connecting architecture, landscape, and the social dimension. The video currently in production aims to convey not only the design choices but also the vision underlying the Mosaico Abitativo Solidale: a model that promotes coexistence, relationships, and mutual support across generations.
The project stands as a concrete example of new forms of intergenerational living, capable of responding to the transformations of contemporary society through spatial quality, sustainability, and community building.
