Expansion of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit and Requalification of the Surgery Block.

The executive architectural and structural design of the paediatric intensive care unit and operating block has been delivered, completing the original project of the Children’s Hospital of Parma “Pietro Barilla”. In a total surface area of approximately 450 m², the creation of 5 paediatric intensive care beds in isolated boxes is envisaged, one of which has a filtered entrance and two beds for post-surgery observation and awakening, close to the operating theatres, in addition to the implementation of 1 patient observation and preparation bed inside the surgery block.
