The active participation of all stakeholders is crucial for creating sustainable infrastructures that can foster development. This is the key message that emerged from the event held at the Senate on 27 February, organised by Ais-Associazione Infrastrutture Sostenibili, during which the report ‘Stakeholder Engagement e Infrastrutture Sostenibili’ was presented, highlighting the importance of dialogue with local communities. The Ais report proposes an innovative approach to address delays in infrastructure implementation by promoting a participatory ecosystem that includes both public and private stakeholders. Through an open and inclusive dialogue, it is possible to accelerate the transformation process towards sustainability and ensure lasting economic and social growth for the country, as promoted by Policreo, which is part of the team of 45 technicians from 24 Ais member companies that drafted the document. Among them are some of the major national players both in terms of contracting stations (Fs Group, Aspi) and engineering and design companies (Politecnica, Proger, Policreo) and construction companies (Webuild, Ghella, Itinera, Carron, Pizzarotti), up to companies specialising in energy and plants (Enel, Saipem).
