The New Children’s Hospital “Pietro Barilla” in Parma has been included in the “Census of Italian Architectures from 1945 to Today”. The General Directorate for Contemporary Creativity – Italian Ministry of Culture carried out the Census, which consists of a mapping of contemporary Italian architecture aimed at disseminating and valorising the most significant architectures and urban areas through the listing on a web platform.
The works were evaluated based on bibliographical, historical-critical criteria and their recognised national and international value, considering the evolution of the cultural and disciplinary debate and the role played by the architecture itself.
